Objects of Desire

When you're doing something awesome, and we owe it to 'life' to do that from time to time, you want to make sure it's recorded for posterity. This is no problem if you're film the kids playing on the lawn, but it does become more problematical if you're throwing yourself out of a plane at 30,000 feet, surfing a huge wave, hurting down a mountain on skis or a track on a dirt bike. Enter the Action Camera, a tough little no-nonsense digital movie cam that you can attach to a helmet, mast, handlebars, your foot, arm or whatever, record your latest adrenalin rush, and at last post something on YouTube or MySpace that's actually interesting and exciting. Keep your hands free to pull the rip cord, swing from a branch, leap bungeed from a bridge, ride your bike, your horse or the back of a turtle (you never know), and let the Action Cam capture it all.

With an in-built SD card slot, you can boost the existing 32MB of on-board memory up to 2GB. The picture quality is pretty decent too with a 640x480 VGA CMOS sensor, and you can play your footage back on your PC or TV. It's water, dirt, rain, snow and shock proof, and provides cinematic proof that you lived life to the full. Go and get muddy and crazy, and amass some evidence for use in your old age that proves you kicked butt in your well spent youth.
